About us

Grey Nickel is a new sales and marketing company, founded by Nicky and Graham Hesketh. Sales and marketing has been our work life since 1995.

Our experience has spanned three decades and has covered a number of sectors. From the ski and golf industry to charities and social enterprise, our number one focus has always been belief.

Nicky Hesketh

Nicky was one of the founder members of the If You Travel websites and has also worked for Crystal Holidays, Black Tomato, Hotel Connect and the Ski Club of Great Britain. Her expertise is offline and online marketing, specialising in content management.

Nicky’s drive, vision and passion for the product were clear to see. She loves ski and wanted to promote it. Her marketing skills developed amazing during the time with us and she was inspirational in the brand redesign and launch of the If You name.

SKS is all about collaboration and vision. We rely on Nicky’s marketing know-how to pitch for numerous high-profile and lucrative tenders, primarily in the tourist sector in Scotland. Whether it’s market research, a marketing strategy, or simply knowledge of how to sell a product, then she is our ‘go to’ expert.

Graham Hesketh

Graham has primarily worked in a sales and marketing environment in the ski and golf industry. From Crystal Holidays, he went to work for EMAP Digital Travel, Golfbreaks.com and Gleneagles. He sees product, marketing strategy and relationship management as his specialty.

It was a pleasure to work with Graham for his seven years at Gleneagles. We started at the same time and it was always a comfort to have a solid and dependable sales manager based at the hotel. There is no doubt Graham had a passion for the industry and the quality of the relationships he built is continuing to have an impact at the hotel.

I have known Graham from his time at Golfbreaks and Gleneagles. I continue to work with Graham at the Wisley. I know I can rely on his work ethic, integrity, quality of service and understanding of our client needs. The fit with Grey Nickel’s clients and the Wisley is ideal.

This is a call to action
