Puente Romano is situated directly on the beach in between Puertobanus and Marbella. Starting higher up the hill, the hotel meanders through its amazing gardens ultimately reaching the beach and their own private dock. With an array of activities, including its famous tennis centre and its vibrant ‘plaza’ with six restaurants, there is a real Spanish village feel.
Puente Romano is the sister hotel of the world-famous Marbella Club, a short walk along the boardwalk. Both have their own golf course, the Marbella Club Golf Resort, which is a 15 minute drive into the hills behind Marbella. With almost 60 golf courses in the Costa del Sol, Puente Romano tasked Grey Nickel with attracting more golf specific groups. The hotel is renowned for luxury leisure, but wanted to grow its individual golf and golf group room nights.
With 14 restaurants, this is a food heaven. Dani Garcia’s Leña steakhouse, to tapas with a twist at Bibo, to the Sea Grill overlooking the Mediterranean, with a night club to end the evening.
A subtropical parkland surrounds Puente Romano. With over 400 different species of plant gathered from five continents, every walk in the garden is an adventure in itself.
The selection of activities is vast with the tennis centre, padel courts, watersports, Six Senses Spa and golf club in the hills, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied.
