Puente Romano

Marbella, Spain

Puente Romano is situated directly on the beach in between Puertobanus and Marbella. Starting higher up the hill, the hotel meanders through its amazing gardens ultimately reaching the beach and their own private dock. With an array of activities, including its famous tennis centre and its vibrant ‘plaza’ with six restaurants, there is a real Spanish village feel.

Puente Romano is the sister hotel of the world-famous Marbella Club, a short walk along the boardwalk. Both have their own golf course, the Marbella Club Golf Resort, which is a 15 minute drive into the hills behind Marbella. With almost 60 golf courses in the Costa del Sol, Puente Romano tasked Grey Nickel with attracting more golf specific groups. The hotel is renowned for luxury leisure, but wanted to grow its individual golf and golf group room nights.

Grey Nickel is currently working alongside Puente Romano to raise awareness of the resort, piggybacking on the recent Solheim Cup in Andalucía. Our remit is to approach and introduce Puente Romano to the wider golf tourism community.
